- 574,000 were detached homes and 92,000 were attached homes.
- 296,000 had three bedrooms and 334,000 had four or more bedrooms.
- 213,000 had 2 bathrooms, 214,000 had 2-1/2 bathrooms and 232,000 had 3 or more bathrooms.
- 337,000 were heated using gas.
- 29% had stucco and 23% had vinyl siding as the primary exterior wall material.
- 624,000 (94%) had wood framing.
- 633,000 homes had a deck, porch or patio.
The median price of new single-family homes sold in 2023 was $428,600, while the average sales price was $514,000.
The median size of a new single-family home sold in 2023 was 2,286 square feet.
