The e2Value Racing Team makes us proud with their determination and passion for the sport. The racing season has barely started, but the e2Value Team is already celebrating its first win!
Baris Aytan finished first in the season opener of the Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup Series in Brooklyn, with a time of 1:35:42 in the Pro category. Another top e2Value team finisher in the Pro category was Ralph Pahlmeyer in 11th place. In Category 4, e2Value Team top finishers included Daniel Triller in third and Johan Abreu in 10th place. Points are awarded to the top 10 finishers of each race, and at the end of the season the total points leader will be crowned the 2016 Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup Champion. As the current winner, Aytan will wear the leader jersey in the next race.
The Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup is a bicycle race series in New York City. The races are sanctioned by USA Cycling, and promoted by the Kissena Cycling Club. The series takes place in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park throughout the spring and summer months.

The Saturday, April 2 race is canceled due to a repaving project in Prospect Park. When the project is completed, the two mile stretch between Grand Army Plaza and Park Circle will be much smoother.
