AAIS COMPANIES CAN OFFER AGENTS TRIAL ACCESS TO ONLINE RESIDENTIAL VALUATION SERVICE

Wheaton, Illinois, June 1, 2006 — Insurers that use forms and manuals developed by the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) have an opportunity to offer their agents free access to an online residential valuation service for a trial period.

Starting in June, carriers that use the organization’s AAISdirect Internet service can access the residential valuation service developed by e2Value, Inc., Stamford, Conn., a provider of online property valuation applications.

In addition, carriers that use AAISdirect can authorize their agents to access the service during the trial period through special agent access codes. (AAISdirect users will receive instructions by e-mail for implementing agent access.)

Free trial access to the e2Value residential service, plus the ability to offer agent access, is available to all insurers that use AAISdirect, no matter what AAIS program they use.

The e2Value service provides systematic valuation procedures for a wide range of residential property, including high value homes, modular and kit homes, condos and co-ops, alterations and additions, and more.

AAIS is a national insurance advisory organization that develops policy forms and rating information used by more than 600 property/casualty companies throughout the U.S.
